THE BLOQS
The bloqs, upon assembly, have an inner locking layer for STRUCTURAL masonry firmness. The horizontal and vertical perforation form a CAVITY WALL that is favorable for thermal + acoustic treatments, and can host MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, and PLUMBING works without demolition.

Nourine Hawary, the founder of neobloq, is an architect with over 8 years of professional experience in the MENA region. She started experimenting with PLASTIC RECYCLING while exploring ARCHITECTURAL REVERSIBILITY during COVID-19 in her family's house garage in Alexandria.
In 2023, neobloq was awarded with the Green Innovation Grant as the only female-led startup by the EU-funded ENI CBC MED GIMED, among 8 startups from Egypt. Now, neobloq is backed by Dar Ventures, the venture arm of Dar Al-Handasah, and our mission is to implement a dynamic innovation strategy to LIGHTWEIGHT + TEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE.
